A Troop of their Own
Trinity Scouting is excited to invite girls ages 11 - 17 to join in the same scouting experience that has benefited youth for over a century. Girls are welcome to take part in the fun and adventure while developing friendships that will last a lifetime. Girls in scouting will work through the same program advancing through the ranks to earn scouting's highest award, Eagle.
Scouting for Girls
Just like the traditional scouting experience, girls will work through the ranks developing their leadership skills. They will learn and practice outdoor skills while taking part in camping, hiking, and other outdoor sports. They take part in high adventure activities such as rock climbing and whitewater rafting. With the troop being a scout led program, the girls will have the chance to choose and plan from the endless possibilities that the outdoors has to offer.
With more than 130 merit badges, scouts are given a well rounded program that builds interest in a variety of fields. The girls will also have the opportunity to take part in Summer camp and all other council and district run events.
